Groupe SEB digital experience — connected-product mobile concept

The company

Groupe SEB (€7.4 billion in sales) is the world leader in small domestic equipment, thanks to its generalist strategy, the strength and complementarity of its brand portfolio (Tefal, Moulinex, Krups, All-Clad and others), its dynamic innovation, and its high-performance industrial facilities.

What I did

I was lucky to be part of the digital UX team during a period of many innovative, confidential projects — designing for connected home appliances, new digital touch-points and brand-portfolio experiences. Specific deliverables remain under NDA.

What I took away

Designing inside a multi-brand consumer giant is a different discipline from designing for a single product team — every decision has to make sense for Tefal customers and Krups customers and the operations teams shipping in dozens of countries. Constraints become craft.
